Fred Fuchs

Fred is an independent film & television producer and media consultant focusing on the development, financing, and production of films and television series for international audiences. He spent 20 years living and working in California, 10 years as the President of American Zoetrope Studios (Francis Coppola’s company) and was Executive Producer of 17 feature films including The Godfather Part III, Bram Stoker’s Dracula, The Secret Garden, Don Juan De Marco, The Virgin Suicides and John Grisham’s The Rainmaker.

For the past 14 years, he has worked with Canadian and European television networks. He was the Executive Director of Arts and Entertainment at the CBC in Toronto where he was responsible for developing, commissioning and supervising production of major television series such as Little House on the Prairie, The Tudors, Pillars of the Earth, Being Eric and The Republic of Doyle. He had a department of 90 people and was responsible for $225 million of productions annually. His most recent projects include the feature film’s Milton’s Secret starring Donald Sutherland and Michelle Rodriguez, as well as The Virtuoso and Our Little Italy. His productions have received 11 Academy Award Nominations and 4 Emmy Nominations. He is still a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. Fred lives in Dundas.

Graham Crawford

Graham spent almost 30 years providing management consulting services, including the development learning programs, to corporations around the world, before retiring in 2005. He was a founding partner of the learning consulting organization, Gilmore & Associates, based in Toronto. His company became one of the largest, Canadian-owned learning design organizations, earning many international awards for design quality, delivering services in 14 countries.

Graham is Past Chair of the Hamilton Club and a past Board member of the Hamilton Philharmonic Orchestra and the Incite Foundation for the Arts. Upon retirement, he opened Hamilton HIStory + HERitage on James Street North – a free, storefront museum dedicated to celebrating Hamilton’s history. He is the author of two Hamilton heritage books, SLEEK – Hamilton’s Mid-Century Modern Residential Architecture and The Grand Durand – Hamilton’s Mansions. Graham lives in Hamilton.

Ruth Liebersbach

Ruth is currently the Chief Financial Officer for McMaster Innovation Park where she draws on her experiences as Past Chair of the Hamilton Chamber of Commerce and as past CFO of various highly entrepreneurial companies to ensure that MIP has the resources to meet its mandates.

Ruth is an FCMA (CMA Fellowship awarded in 2007 with only 1% of world wide CMA’s having a Fellowship). She is a graduate of McMaster University and a recipient of the Chartered Directors designation (C.Dir) from the DeGroote School of Business at McMaster University. Her academic credentials, coupled with her great work experience gives Ruth the acumen to move a company forward.
